Brief: The initiative will fund 15 organizations in each region and the support will be either for a full- four-year period or for two-year renewal term. The application forms can be submitted online via website or email. The last date to apply for the initiative is 28 September 2009. However, since prior registration is required for all applying organizations, the registration will close on 21 September 2009. Registration can be made online via the website.

Title: Award for Efforts against Human Trafficking & other Forms of Modern-day Slavery
Brief: The award has a cash prize of $10,000 which will be provided to the recipient over a period of two years. The winner has to travel to the United States to receive the award and also share his/her work experience with an international audience. It is not necessary for the person to be familiar with English. Within the one month of the confirmation of the award, Free the Slaves will visit the work of the winner and make a film on it.
